At LiquorETC, we proudly present Rémy Martin VSOP, one of the most iconic Cognacs in the world and a benchmark for the category. First created in 1927, VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) embodies the perfect harmony of powerful and elegant aromas, symbolizing the Cellar Master’s art of blending. It is crafted exclusively from grapes grown in the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne crus, the two most prestigious vineyards in Cognac, earning it the designation of Cognac Fine Champagne.

Rémy Martin VSOP is aged longer than the minimum required for VSOP, spending several years in French oak barrels. This extended maturation allows the eaux‑de‑vie to develop remarkable complexity, balancing fruit, spice, and oak. Bottled at 40% ABV, it pours a warm ochre in the bottle and a vibrant gold in the glass, reflecting its depth and refinement.

On the nose, Rémy Martin VSOP reveals an aromatic harmony of vanilla, dried apricot, and candied pear, lifted by floral notes of violet and rose. The palate is structured and layered, offering flavors of dried fruits, delicate liquorice, and a silky texture that creates a satisfying mouthfeel. The finish is rounded and elegant, leaving behind impressions of fruit and oak.

This Cognac is versatile in its enjoyment. Neat, it highlights its smooth, layered character, perfect for contemplative sipping. Served over ice, it softens into a more approachable style. It also shines in cocktails such as the Rémy Ginger, Mint Julep, or French Mule, where its richness balances citrus and spice. For food pairings, it complements roasted meats, aged cheeses, and chocolate desserts, making it a refined choice for both casual and celebratory occasions.
